A few minutes of paperwork covering your medical history, current skincare routine, and what brings you in.

Consultation with your skin specialist
A one-on-one assessment with a member of our skin specialist team to understand your goals, evaluate your skin, and build a tailored treatment plan. If your plan involves injectables, laser, or other medical procedures, you will also meet the appropriate physician on the day or at a follow-up visit.

Treatment plan walkthrough
We discuss your options, expected timeline, and full pricing. You can ask anything, and there is no pressure to commit on the spot.

Richmond location FAQs
Is the consultation free?
Consultations at BioPlus Richmond are complimentary for most treatments. If you are booking with Dr. Zhou for esthetic dermatology, his consultations are billed separately and are not currently covered by MSP.
How long does a consultation take?
Plan for 30 to 45 minutes. This gives our skin specialist team time to properly assess your skin, discuss your goals, walk through treatment options, and answer any questions you have.
What should I bring?
Arrive with clean skin (no heavy makeup if possible) and bring a list of any prescription medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter retinoids or skincare actives. If you have had previous aesthetic treatments, knowing the dates and products used is helpful.
Where do I park?
The Richmond clinic is located at 8155 Capstan Way, Suite 145, with parking available in the building. The location is accessible by Canada Line SkyTrain (closest station is Capstan, just a short walk away) and is well-served by several bus routes.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a partner, friend, or family member for support during your consultation. Many of our patients appreciate having a second set of ears when reviewing treatment options.
Can I book by phone instead?
Yes. Call our Richmond location at 604-638-2298 during business hours (Tues-Sat, 10am to 6:30pm) and our team will help you find a time that works.
What if I cannot find a time that works?
Email us at richmond@biopluslaser.com with your preferred days and times, and we will do our best to accommodate. We also occasionally have last-minute openings due to cancellations.
