Luwyna Li is the Founder and Managing Director of BioPlus International Laser & Skin Clinic, and the clinic's premier laser specialist. She founded Bioscor International Hair and Skin Clinic in 1996, serving the Lower Mainland for nearly three decades before expanding to Richmond in 2022 as Bio-International Laser Clinic. In 2024, the clinics merged and were renamed BioPlus International Laser & Skin Clinic.

Luwyna was the first laser specialist in British Columbia to introduce Fotona Q-Switched laser systems and Cynosure PicoSure technology, bringing next-generation pigmentation treatment solutions to the Vancouver market. Many of the advanced technologies now common across Vancouver's aesthetic industry first arrived in the province through her clinic.

Her core clinical specialisation is the treatment of skin discolouration, particularly melasma and complex pigmentation disorders. Her approach integrates advanced laser platforms with customised protocols tailored to each patient's condition, skin type, and long-term outcomes.

With more than 30 years of hands-on laser experience, Luwyna has built a substantial waitlist of patients who specifically book with her. Her clinical judgment in laser selection, parameter optimisation, and treatment protocol design comes from decades of treating thousands of patients across diverse skin types and virtually every laser platform on the market.

Today, she continues to lead BioPlus with a focus on innovation, ethical practice, and personalised care.

Dr. Zhou is one of Canada's most distinguished dermatologist-scientists and a defining presence at BioPlus. He is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States, a rare distinction nationally. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and currently serves as President of the Canadian Dermatology Foundation — the national body that has funded dermatology research across Canada since 1969.

Dr. Zhou and his laboratory has shaped the international understanding of pigmentation disorders, vitiligo, eczema, psoriasis, and the diagnosis of skin malignancies. His team played a leading role in the development of tapinarof, the first FDA-approved topical psoriasis treatment in more than 40 years and one of the most significant Canadian therapeutic contributions in dermatology.

In 2022, Dr. Zhou received the Michael Smith Health Research BC Health Professional-Investigator Award for his research on Maresin 1 as a novel therapy for vitiligo. His work has been cited more than 7,800 times in international scientific literature.

Dr. Zhou provides expert dermatological consultation to the BioPlus medical team, advising on aesthetic-related skin conditions including pigmentation disorders, vitiligo, and inflammatory skin concerns. He works alongside our practitioners to review complex cases and ensure each patient's care plan is medically sound.

Dr. Zong serves as Medical Director and lead injector at BioPlus. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine and received his Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) in 2015.

His clinical career began in family medicine, including emergency room and rural practice in Saskatchewan. His interest in performing precise outpatient procedures led him into medical aesthetics, where attention to detail and patient comfort are central to good work.

Dr. Zong is experienced in the full range of injectable treatments offered at BioPlus, including Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers (Restylane, Teosyal, Juvederm, Radiesse), Belkyra for fat reduction, Sculptra for collagen stimulation, PRP and PRF therapies, and non-surgical nose contouring.

Dr. Gharedaghi brings more than 12 years of injectable experience to BioPlus. She obtained her medical degree in Tehran and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is a board-certified member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

Her aesthetic certifications come from the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and the North American Laser and Aesthetics Procedures Academy. She has trained directly under leading international experts, including Julie Horne for advanced lip techniques. She is currently completing post-graduate diplomas in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and Cardiff University.

Dr. Gharedaghi performs the full range of injectables at BioPlus, including Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, Sculptra, PRP and PRF therapy, mesotherapy, Belkyra, thread lifting, and non-surgical nose contouring. She is also clinical faculty at UBC's Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Huang is a board-certified family physician with more than 12 years of experience in medical aesthetics. She earned her medical degree at the University of British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency credentials in addition to her MD.

Her aesthetic credentials include membership in the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, training with the International Master Course on Aging Science Academy, and certification in laser safety from the National Council on Laser Certification. She has trained internationally across North America, the United Kingdom, and Asia, including with Dr. Harris for non-surgical lip lift and with Julie Horne for advanced lip technique.

Dr. Huang is fluent in English and Cantonese and works regularly with our Cantonese-speaking patient community. She performs the full range of injectables at BioPlus, including Botox and Dysport, dermal fillers, Sculptra, PRP therapy, and thread lifting.

Grace Ou serves as Director and Supervisor of Client Services at BioPlus International. She holds dual degrees in Biology and Nutritional Science from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan and the University of Manitoba in Canada, and is a government-certified esthetician in Taiwan with completed training certifications for several medical aesthetic devices in Canada.

Her clinical foundation began as a dietitian intern at Landseed International Hospital in Taiwan. Before entering medical aesthetics, she also worked as a professional makeup artist and eyelash technician, an aesthetic foundation that informs her approach to client service and treatment planning today.

Grace has spent more than eight years in the medical aesthetics industry, where she now oversees administrative operations, customer service, aesthetic consulting, marketing, clinic event planning, and physician support at BioPlus.
